When & how can I register to play?
What age group will I, or my child, play in?
Moorebank Soccer Club has teams from Under 5’s and up. Players cannot play below their age group, but they can play in older teams above their age (up to 2 years for boys and 3 years for girls) with Club approval.
Can I play in the same team as my friends?
Team sport is fantastic for children to meet new people, interact and develop new friendships. Here at MSC we grade all our players from under 8s and up.
How do I pay for registration?
Payment can also be made via direct deposit. Please find below MSC’s bank account details below:

How do I apply for an Active Kids voucher?
1. Go to the NSW Government Active Kids website
2. You will need to verify some details e.g. Medicare card
3. Complete personal details and receive your 16-digit voucher code
4. Make a note of this voucher code for future reference
The voucher code obtained will be entered into the payment section when you register via the Play Football website.
What is provided by the club as part of my registration fees?
Our registration packages include a uniform kit (shorts, 2 x socks), training ball and all match fees (referee and venue costs), player related insurance, and affiliation fees associated with Southern Districts (SDSFA), Football NSW and Football Australia. The playing jerseys are owned by the club and are handed out each game by the coach/manager and collected at the end.
Who will coach and manage a team?
You will be contacted by your Coach or Manager at the beginning of the season to introduce themselves and let you know training times and answer any questions you may have.
It is important to reiterate that your Coach and Manager have voluntarily taken on these roles so the children can play and have fun, so it is only fair to treat them with the utmost courtesy and respect they deserve.
The Club arranges coaching accreditation courses, or arranges access to various community coaching courses.
Where are matches played throughout the season?
Away games can be played at any SDSFA grounds depending on who your opposition is, incorporating the Liverpool and Fairfield local government areas.
What is the start/end date of the season and do you play in holidays?
Trial games will commence in March and the competition matches will commence in April and continue until mid to late August.
Occasional weekends like Easter weekend there will be no matches scheduled, but games will continue through school holidays during the regular season.

What do players need to wear during training and games?
Players must wear the Moorebank Soccer Club uniform to all games. For safety reasons, all players must also be wearing proper football boots with moulded studs and shin pads (under your socks). These can be purchased from local sports stores.
For training, players can wear any appropriate clothing along with football boots and shin pads.
Players are not permitted to play with glasses, and must wear ‘sports goggles’ where necessary.
What do I do if I/my child is sick, or cannot make it to training or a game?
What happens when it is wet weather?
The Club may determine that the fields are unplayable for training or matches, even if Council has left fields status as ‘open’. If Council advice suggests that fields are closed, the Club has no option to alter that advice.

Mini – Under 8 to 9 – 7 v 7 – 10 per team
Mod – Under 1 to 11 – 9 v 9 – 12 per team
Full – Under 12 to 15 – 11 v 11 – 14 per team
Full – Under 16 – 11 v 11 – 16 per team
Full – Under 17+ – 11 v 11 – maximum 16 per game
How long do the games go for?
Under 6 to 9 – 20 mins each way
Under 10 to 12 -25 mins each way
Under 13 to 14 – 30 mins each way
Under 15 to 16 – 35 mins each way
Under 17 – 40 mins each way
Under 18 to 21, All Age & Over 35 – 45 mins each way
